Osmaston Park is a large public park in the Alvaston area of Derby with open green spaces, woodland paths, sports areas and family facilities. People mainly use it for walking, jogging, dog walks, cycling and spending time outdoors away from busy roads and the city centre. The park also has playgrounds, football pitches, a BMX area and community spaces, so it’s popular with families, local residents and younger visitors. Parts of the park are surrounded by trees and wildlife areas, giving it a quieter and more natural feel compared to smaller urban parks nearby.
