Chester Green is a public green space in the Darley area of Derby that works as a quiet place to walk, relax, spend time outdoors, or let children play. Set near the River Derwent and close to the city centre, it’s used by locals for everyday walks, dog walking, informal recreation, and short breaks away from busy streets. The area is also known for its long history, with roots going back to the Roman settlement of Derventio, which gives the surroundings a more historic feel than a typical neighbourhood park.
